Christmas Caroling 2012

Michelle Tuesday Music School held its first annual Christmas Caroling event on Friday, December 14th at 6:00 PM. The event was one of the more… interesting of MTMS events.

It started with a frantic attempt to print off lyrics sheets (oopsies for forgetting to prepare that little detail in advance) and the inevitable printer-running-out-of-ink dilemma that always plagues situations like these. Christmas Caroling Tomorrow!

All MTMS students and their friends and family are invited to join us for our first annual MTMS Christmas Caroling event! All participating should arrive shortly before 6:00 PM. We will be walking in the two neighborhoods adjacent to Vista Plaza: Villa Oaks to the north and Vista Apartments to the south. Holiday Recitals This Weekend

If you have not yet signed up for the 2012 Holiday Recitals, you can still participate during the Saturday evening session from 6-7pm. It’s too late to get your child’s name in the recital program, but not too late to perform! Just show up shortly before 6pm on Saturday and let one of us know you would like to be added to the lineup of musicians performing.

Students who are too nervous to perform on the big stage are encouraged to come watch and cheer on their fellow students. With musical performances ranging from beginner to advanced, from traditional to modern to original, from piano to flute to ukulele, the entire event is sure to be fantastic. Grand Opening: Michelle Tuesday Music School

Finally, after months of planning, preparation, and payouts, Michelle Tuesday Music School in Gahanna, Ohio is a retail reality. With our signage, walls, and doors in place, we are just about ready to open our doors to the public at 1173 N. Hamilton Road, in Vista Plaza, next door to Martinizing Dry Cleaning and Great Clips. Come to our Grand Opening on Sunday, September 26th, from 1pm – 5pm for live outdoor music, a Wii Rock Band competition, tours of our facility and computer lab, family games and activities, door prizes, and a chance to win a $100 gift card toward music or drama instruction.

City permits and contractor delays have pushed back our Grand Opening from the beginning to the end of September, but we’re just happy to hold it in September at all. Continue reading “Grand Opening: Michelle Tuesday Music School”

Sunny 95: Girls Night Out UPDATE, PHOTOS

A huge “Thank you!” goes out to Sunny 95 for hosting the phenomenal “Girls Night Out” event last Thursday at the Franklin Park Conservatory. The event was a smashing success, with more than eight hundred Columbus-area women taking the night off for wine, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, and and pampering by local area businesses.

Michelle Tuesday played throughout the event, and a number of women sought information and signed up for email-only specials and promotions at the Michelle Tuesday Music School table.
