Summer Camps and Festivals
After much anticipation, the 2013 Michelle Tuesday Music School Summer Camp lineup has been published. This year, we are offering three week-long music summer camps:
- Musical Theatre Summer Camp
- Glee! Summer Camp
- Rock Band Summer Camp
Check out the “Now Enrolling” sidebar for dates and to enroll.
In 2013, we have expanded the hours of our summer camps to 8am-5pm Monday through Friday the week of the camp, with a final performance at 6:30 PM on Friday. We hope the new hours make it more convenient for you to drop off and pick up your child during summer camp week.
Also new in 2013, we are introducing MTMS Summer Festivals. These budget-friendly, one-day camps run from 8am-5pm the day of the camp, with a final performance on Saturday afternoon showcasing the hard work of all the festivals from the week. The options include:
- Summer Flute Festival
- Summer Pops Festival
- Summer Irish Festival
- Summer Rock Festival
- Summer Choral Festival
Our instructors are very excited about these new offerings, and we hope to see many of our students as well as new faces in the groups. Invite your friends! These music camps and music festivals are open to the public, and it’s easy to enroll online.
We welcome your questions and ideas about our summer music offerings.

Adult Holiday Recital 2012
The 2012 Michelle Tuesday Music School Adult Holiday Recital was held on Friday evening, December 14th, from 7:30 – 8:30. It was a blast as the adult recitals always are, laid back and fun with lots of hootin’ and hollerin’ in support of the performers. The event featured a prelude of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” by receptionist and computer lab attendant Amber Fredenburg on piano, debut vocal performances by voice students Olivia Wells and Matt Barach; selections from The Nutcracker Suite and an array of sing-along holiday tunes from the newly-created Advanced Flute Ensemble; flute student and computer lab attendant Erika Klauka performing more sing-along holiday songs; instructor Dr. Angela Heck Mueller; and Michelle Tuesday on guitar, singing “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” and Jack Johnson’s fun rendition of “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.” Enjoy photos and videos from the event, below.
